Arrival and Departure

• Arrival time is after 2 pm unless otherwise agreed in advance.
• Departure time is 11 am unless you're on a 2 night weekend break when the departure time is Sunday at 4 pm
• We are flexible whenever we can be regarding arrivals and departures, just ask us.

Cottage welcome

• As part of our welcome you will find tea, coffee and sugar provided in the kitchen.
• Also in the kitchen you will find a range of herbs and spices as well as cooking oil so you can start cooking easily.

Cottage Use

• Please leave the cottage clean and tidy on departure
• During your stay please take all reasonable care of the cottage and its contents.
• No smoking in and around the cottage
• No pets are allowed (Exception: Guide dogs by arrangement prior to booking)
• You may have visiting guests although an overnight stay will be charged for.

Hot tub and sauna

• We do all we can to ensure the hot tub and sauna are available in excellent condition for every guest stay. We have a 100% record for the sauna since install in 2010. We have a 100% record for the hot tub since install in 2009 apart from one incident due to a parts failure.
• If the unthinkable should happen before or during your stay and either the hot tub or the sauna be unavailable for you then we will re-imburse 20% of the cost of your stay.

How to book

• Please refer to the Terms and Conditions page before making your booking.
• You may make your booking via our Booking Form.
• The deposit required to secure your booking is 25% of the total cost. Your deposit can be made via our online payment service using a debit card, credit card or Pay Pal*
• Payment in full (the final payment) is required 30 days in advance of your stay or immediately if less than 30 days remain before your stay.
• The final payment can be made by cheque or via our online payment service using a debit card, credit card or Pay Pal*
• A refundable security deposit of £50 is required with the final payment. For details see the Terms and Conditions.
• Our online payment service is accessed via the button below the Booking Form.
• We are unable to reserve a stay on the basis of an enquiry or even a filled out booking form. Your booking is only secured after your deposit has been received.

We use the Paypal service to take online payments but you do not need a PayPal account, you can pay directly using a credit or debit card - although if you do have a Paypal account you may still use it for convenience.
