We think our holiday hideaway, Pike House Cottage, could be an ideal holiday cottage for your self-catering accommodation stay while walking or cycling in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, UK. We have a lockable workshop in which to store bikes and a drying area for outside clothes accessible from an outside door.

Road riders can look forward to winding country lanes and short hill climbs. Families can use the popular cycle paths in the Cannop Valley safely away from traffic, and for keen mountain bikers the forest tracks provide wild opportunities with an excellent dedicated off-road area. Our builders have created a beautiful high stone wall matching the cottage and replacing the wooden fence at the rear entrance. A solid fitted door has also been included and makes it look like the door to the Secret Garden.
Final weekend before Christmas is just over and the guests who stayed left a really nice message in our cottage guestbook, "Thank you for our little bit of Christmas before the start of hectic family festivities!"
As a wonderful addition to our hot tub we've now added a sauna. It's housed in a purpose built log cabin alongside the garden room. What a sense of rejuvenation you get from quality time in a sauna!
